What is quadball?
Quadball is a fast-paced, contact sport created in 2005 and played in over 39 countries. A quadball team consists of up to 21 athletes with seven players per team on the field at any one time. Each player must keep a broom between their legs at all time.
Inspired by the sport of quidditch, quadball is a mixed gender contact sport with a unique mix of elements from rugby, dodgeball, and tag. A quadball team is made up of seven athletes who play with brooms between their legs at all times. While the game can appear chaotic to the casual observer, once familiar with the basic rules, quadball is an exciting sport to watch and even more exciting to play.
Spanning over 2 days, US Quadball Cup is the largest quadball tournament in the world, featuring over 60 teams from around the country, 1,200 players, a thousands of local spectators! This year’s tournament is being held at The Proving Grounds in Conshohocken, PA on April 15th and April 16th.
With games starting at 9:00 A.M. and going Until 9:00 P.M., we are looking for local vendors and merchants to not only make this year’s tournament memorable for the athletes, but for all the spectators as well.
Interested in becoming a vendor?
Things you should know as you consider becoming a vendor for US Quadball Cup 2023: This tournament will have 14 games being played at a time, starting at 9:00 am each day and generally running 60 to 75 minutes per game. Vendors can expect steady waves of athletes and spectators starting as early as 10:30 am. With most teams and US Quadball staff members mornings starting around 6:00 am, all vendor should expect to see attendees entering the fan fest zone looking for food options around 10:30 am and long lines forming immediately at 11:00 am. -While Hit Your Mark Productions will screen and select vendors for this event, approved food truck vendors will be put in contact with The Proving Grounds to discuss operating fees. -Non-food vendors will be assessed a fee to cover the cost of their tent, table, and 2 chairs. -Vendor selection will take place the week of March 20th, with approved vendors hearing from us by March 24th. -We are creating a vehicle free – fan fest zone, that will guarantee heavy foot traffic for all vendor partners. -All food truck venders will need to offer at least one (1) vegan food item to be considered for this event. -We will require all vendors arrive to The Proving Grounds ahead of all athletes and spectators. Vendor load-in will start at 7:00 am and conclude at 7:45 am. -The fan fest zone will officially operate each day from 11:00 am to 7:00 pm
